This camp director is tired! No matter-Moving on…
Today was another kind of laid back day and only the younger camper was here. The older camper turned nine in March and today his aunt had the day off so she spent it with him in Columbus doing all kinds of cool aunt things.
Meanwhile, back at camp the director and the younger camper hung out, ate fruit and then went to the movies to see Hoppers. The movie was good and we enjoyed a hot dog, popcorn, a slushy and some Reece’s Pieces and a Coke-Ugh! I need some protein. The campers are excited that their older half brother is going to come spend a couple of nights with them. They haven’t seen him since early September and they just found out that he is going to be a dad and they are thrilled. They haven’t really grasped the fact that their brother just turned sixteen, but they are going to be an aunt and an uncle; at seven and nine years old that’s a pretty cool thing to find out.
Tomorrow we head to Middletown to Triple Moon Coffee Company for some great coffee and good vibes! (and amazing chocolate milk and the best grilled cheese ever!)
